Keyworth is a well established commuter village in the Borough of Rushcliffe and lies some seven miles to the South of Nottingham City Centre.

There are frequent bus services to Nottingham together with excellent road links to the M1 motorway, East Midlands Airport, Leicester, Derby, Birmingham and London. Fast rail links to London are available from Nottingham together with nearby Loughborough and Grantham.

Keyworth has good local shops with more comprehensive facilities in nearby West Bridgford and of course Nottingham. There is also a local library in the village together with a leisure centre which includes a swimming pool together with a teaching pool, a floodlit pitch and four further hardcourts. There is also a local tennis club, a bowls club and the Key Health Club and an 18 hole Golf Course at nearby Stanton-on-the-Wolds.

Medical services are well catered for with a local Health Centre, two Dental practices and two Opticians.

Keyworth has three Junior Schools namely Willow Brook, Crossdale Drive and Nottingham Road and the Senior School, South Wolds Comprehensive is constantly in the top section of the Ofsted league tables.
